Am I doing the right thing?

It's 11:42 in the evening, and it's late but my relative is still having their videoke moment up until now. The videoke time should up until 10 PM only. That's the city ordinance here in Davao City. Some of my neighbors are already sleeping. The sounds are still loud. To think they have babies too. My youngest Brother tried to reprimand them or at least lower the volume but they are not listening. If they still can't make it stop, I will call 911 for that.

I can understand your frustration over that. That is an annoying thing to hear especially when you are about to sleep and they still do that thing. We had a similar situation before. We we’re staying at an apartment and the relatives of the landlord had a birthday party in front of our house. They were loud and rowdy. We seek help with the barangay to check on them. It still took them 2am before they finally decided to disperse.

It's not okay during those hours because it's school days and children are sleeping. It's very annoying to think their Father is one of the Brgy's officials.

@JustBhem oh that’s just disappointing that a leader of the community is leading a bad example to his constituents. I hope voters will not vote for him sgain.

@rsa101 Yes, sometimes we questioned his responsibility as a Father and as an official. Just like now, I can still hear music again and loud noises. Sounds like they are having a party again.

The policy here is 10pm for sound. Are they in your household or relatives nearby? They should respect other people and neighbors because it should be quiet time.

Relatives nearby. Yes, they should respect the city ordinance too. And to think that their Father is one of our Brgy's officials.
