Lauren Gregory performed an act of honesty that made her not only a happy lady but she made a friend with Pastor Maurice Hardwick who is a minister with the Believers Outreach Ministry in Oakland County Michigan. Maurice was driving his auto from the Kroger store in Southfield to the home of his mother to give her a birthday present when he dropped a wallet that had $1,500 dollars inside. Lauren picked up the wallet and returned it back to Kroger so she could contact the person who lost his wallet. Since no one answered she placed a note of the auto of Maurice to have him contact her to have his wallet returned. When Maurice found out what happened to his missing wallet, he contacted Lauren so she could return him the money he lost since she realized he needed the money more than she did. What Lauren found out being honest, is that she gains something money can't buy. A friend for life.

It really is since Lauren admitted that she would feel bad if someone stole money that she lost as well.

That is a wonderful story. I have never found a significant amount of money but I know that if I did I would also look for the owner because I would feel that it was unfair for me to keep it.

There is a saying that goes "That is not our money." in reference to finding a huge amount of money in the street that does not belong to the person who finds it.
