When you live at a distance, you worry more for your loved ones- Isn't it?

Hi mylotters. I have observed that whenever you live at a distance from your loved ones, you worry about them more, especially when someone isn't well. I personally believe one feels helpless when you are at a distance from your loved ones and when they aren't well, you tend to worry more.

Very true. You will keep asking yourself if working far from home is a nice decision.

I live in Texas and my Dad lives in Iowa and I found out Monday that he's going to have to have surgery. He's 88 and has Dementia and the surgery is dangerous; so this could turn out bad @Rashnag .

Yes, one time my 2nd Brother together with his wife and kids went somewhere in the north. I was too worried about them because I know how poor those places are. What I did was I send them money to go home, and now they have their own house right beside us.

It's normal. Although, it's easier now to communicate and look after them because of the current technology.

Yes that's right. When my sister lives with me, I have less worries regarding her. But when she goes to her laws house, I again start to worry about her, though I know she is happy there.
