Diary Sunday 23rd September 2018 A very quiet laid back day between busy weeks. It was nice to do as little as possible for a change. Diary Monday 24th September 2018 Back to busy busy busy with a whole day of voluntary work. In the morning I packed over 100 goodie bags with leaflets, notebooks, etc for distribution to our audiences during the film festival at the university in just two weeks time. I had an hour for lunch which should have been plenty of time but I needed to get cash from a cash machine and finding one that wasn't empty took up half my hour. I got a rather bland kebab in a shop where they were reluctant to give me a receipt so insisting on one (I needed it to reclaim my lunch expenses) took up more time. Then the university lifts broke down so that slowed me down further and I only just made it to the classroom where I was helping run the class in social work in the afternoon was very last minute. Diary Tuesday 25th September 2018 Cheap food distribution day, my first in weeks due to other commitments, and I made the most of the chance to use the community centre computers and see my friends too. As my back-pack bag is falling apart, I recently ordered a replacement one on Amazon. The one that arrived was way too small for me. I cannot imagine many children it would fit either. Amazingly, a friend sent me an e-mail message that she found me one very cheap in a charity shop. She's getting it to me later this week. yay!
