A Hard Time Saving

I don't know about the rest of you, but it seems like every time I get money saved, something comes along and it is needed. I mean, I know things come up, but my word it's something all the time. I had a two hundred dollar gas bill, and then I had to buy tires, and still need another one which I will get soon. Am I the only one feeling like this. Soon it will be winter and that scares me, because one never know how bad it will be. Just glad I had the money put back, but now I start all over again. This sucks.

I do, but the gas man came and filled me up, he wasn't suppose to. But I am not mad just might have to have it.

@popciclecold No, it happens to eveeryone. I think those machines and parts all get ideas from each other. When one breaks or goes bad the others think that looks like fun.

Yes and the gas, power and water eat up a lot of money as well as the car upkeep.

Yes it does, I use to tell my husband, People can't buy anything in the winter. Lol.

You are not alone. I have the same question also. I feel happy that i have something to put aside, but wait, there comes a thing that will make me spend the saved money. It is really hard to save, we have savings but making them grow is something that happens so slow.

@popciclecold don’t worry, almost everyone experiences that. As long as you are healthy, that’s good otherwise Hospital will take all your savings. It’s the worst of all.

Saving money is tough. I have to basically carve out a time and place for me to put money aside or I won't do it. I also can't have it somewhere where I can easily get into it...cuz guess what? My IRA seems to be the best place for my "extra" cash.

Oh, I can totally relate to that, every time I have money saved up for something, an unexpected bill comes in that I have to pay.
