Finally it's not too hot for the bees

I have been noticing more bees around lately, not as many as there used to be back in the late 1990s but more than what I've seen in the last couple of months.
Back in early August while at mom's house I got these shots of this beautiful bee flying in for a treat, her vines are on the north side of her house so it's kinda cool in the mornings.
My morning glories are finally sprouting so I imagine I will have bloom by late October, it just gets too hot where I live for them to sprout before now.
Are bees still keeping busy where you are?

I haven't seen any lately, though I got stung by one in August. Your flowers are beautiful.

I've seen lots of bees this year. We've had lots of blooms to attract them.

Same here @DWDavis I haven't seen nearly as many as I would like and my neighborhood has a bee keeper but there are also a lot of ignorant people here who still use dangerous insecticides and herbicides, I only use the organic remedies that won't harm them
You are so lucky to have so many @morelyhunt this year I noticed mom's neighborhood had more than mine, I think fewer people in her suburb are using harsh chemicals.

@Morleyhunt I hope the bee's numbers are rising each year now. It seems more people are aware of how to protect them. Keeping bees also seems to have become a popular pastime for many. My cousin and her neighbor are new beekeepers.

Yesterday we were watching the bees in the zinnias. Last nights frost killed the zinnias...now the bees will need to be content with the marigolds.
Tomorrow morning we head out for a long, long drive....to Texas.

I am glad to hear that. Bees are necessary for our planet to remain healthy.
