Am I a bad person because I don't understand?

In a few weeks the squeal to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is coming out and a big drop of a certain actress is playing a BIG character. Claudia Kim was finally allowed to say that she was playing Nagini, who is portrayed as a human in the movie and then, later on, is Lord Voldemort's snake. And for some reason, people turn this into a Racism and misogynistic outrage story. And I just don't understand. When Kim announced she was playing Nagini, I was excited because we get a bigger back story on Nagini. If you are a big Harry Potter freak like me, you really only know that Nagini was found by Tom Riddle somewhere near Albania, Nagini is a she, she is venomous, green, and is a Horcrux. And made a character have the most BA scene ever! People are making it into a racist thing because Claudia Kim is Korean, and they are saying because she is Asian and a woman and eventually a servant to the dark lord which is a white man that it is racist and misogynistic. And people are outraged by this. But what I don't understand those is she is playing a human who becomes a snake, I don't know if she is cursed to be a snake or she is an animagus, I don't know I didn't search that part but she is a snake. Everyone knows that Nagini is a she, Voldemort says SHE so we had to already assume if there is a human version of Nagini that she was going to be played by a woman. As a snake, she is assumed to be a King Cobra in the books because she is green and venomous and in the movies, she is a Burmese python. Both snakes are found where?! ASIA! Burmese pythons and King Cobras are more often found in Southeast Asia but can be found where? In Korea! So doesn't it make sense to have a person of color who comes from the area where these snakes come from portray her for her backstory? I just don't understand. Like, I get it, it is a woman having to serve a man, but also Nagini was Voldemort's most precious Horcrux. She was his everything so she may have been a "servant" but she was also in a sense "loved." And the fact that people are putting a color to this role is the most annoying because they are only making it about her gender and color and I find that more racist than she is playing a character who is a servant to a fictional character. Am I a bad person because I don't understand why people are so outraged by this? I was just thinking, oh Nagini is a Burmese Python and female, of course, an Asian woman would play her! Yes, please had another POC in your cast! There are not many Asian people in the Harry Potter franchise and the actress seems so happy with her role! I just don't understand. I'm excited about the movie, I'm excited to learn more about Nagini and people need to calm down because there is no reason to freak out this badly because it is just continuity and more importantly is just a fictional character.

'Naagin' was a hit Indian movie, in which the role of serpent who can take the form of a beautiful woman was played by late Sridevi, a ravishing and talented Indian actress.

Yep! That is just another version of Nagini, in the beginning, I always pictured Nagini as an Indian woman, but when she appeared in the movies as a burmese python is changed a little bit, but no matter what still a woman from Asia or southeast Asia

I tell you, this world is getting crazier by the day. People in today's time I think just loves to try to find and call everyone and everything as being racist. It is bad when they start calling a character in a movie racist I've seen other movies that has been said the same thing about

I do not understand either. Men and Women have always served each other, since the beginning of time.

We live in an era where everything is criticized. Had a man been cast in the part, there would have been "outrage" that a woman should have been cast.

Especially since Nagini is a female snake and Naginis from lore are females that turn into snakes!
