There is a thing called closure when a person dies but when someone who stays away because of helplessness then that indeed is a sad thing.
@Hatley (Patsie) is one user here who we cannot contact nor can she contact us. She has not been posting for months now, She is one of the oldest users here and used to be a regular participant
Won't it be a happy moment if at all she gets back?.

@allknowing Yes, it was hard work trying to work out what she was saying, but she is a sweetheart.

In this time and age it is pathetic that such rules are imposed. Not even a phone connection is never heard of

@allknowing I fully agree and her son wrote that she is not at all happy, poor Patsie.

I have my doubts about her doing well. Her son is not clear on that.

@sol_cee There were no codes used by her that one had to decipher what she wrote

But that did not stop her from posting and that did not stop others from responding to her discussions although it was tough trying to know what she wanted to say That is myLot for you.

@allknowing I like 'deciphering' her discussion. I hope she's okay wherever she is.

I did'nt notice Patsie here when I started because I was not around since July. I've search her account and I can't read what she meant, not to be rude but is she dyslexic?

She's very old and was in a nursing home. I think her eyesight may be bad as well, although I'm not sure about that. I started here in 2011 and she was here then, a very popular member. She had some epic discussions. By epic I mean pages and pages long, if I remember right.

'One of the things I like about myLot' is that ... it's here whether we show up or not! But it is 'nice to be missed.'

@allknowing Right, but we're not 'waiting for them.' We're glad they're here, but they're not here 'because we need them to be' or 'because we force them to be' ... and thus we are honored by their presence

Many of us were hoping her son could help her with this while she is on the mend, but I'm not sure if they live in the same area.
Some posts about Patsie have been on Facebook.

Her son is also in a way helpless from what I read from a message he sent me may be a month or two ago.

Such a small thing as the use of a computer she is deprived of. Sad indeed

No computer, no Internet and no phone connection too. How can one live in peace this way?
