I'm not a terrorist, how many times will I have to tell you! Actually I was just cleaning our back yard garden after super typhoon " Ompong", chopping down some tree branches and preparing for more typhoons that's predicted to come till December this year. Lots of mosquitos, tree ants and caterpillar spikes so I need to cover my face, see I'm making a peace sign and I was just ordered by my wife lol! How is everybody? Hope you all have a great weekend

I told you that you should better not go down the street dressed like this! Your garden seems to be an interesting natural reserve for wild animals.

Actually I'm in a private subdivision at the heart of Metro Manila, our security guards might not recognize me My machete or Philippine jungle bolo is hand made from carbon steel anviled by a master blacksmith from leaf springs and cost me only 6 dollars, oh I got it by trading leaf springs from my junk yard Seriously I want to mimic a tropical rain forest at my backyard where I could pray, rest, meditate and drink lol! Oh yes produce some food. Here is another angle of me chopping away ( trimming) at a balite tree that most Filipinos won't even go near to since faries and the like reside on them based on a popular folklore

@Iam_jauntyjen yup that tree I'm chopping is a balite, it started small probably seeds dropped by birds and attached to our wall, after years it grew and detached from the wall and now stands on it's own intricate roots, it's a sight to behold, tomorrow I will take a pictire of the roots when it's not dark and show it to you, I trim it to prevent the tree from growing large.

Ahead of the game is the word lots of dengue fever cases after a typhoon so we have to be properly attired based on what we plan to do.

Terrorists often don't look like what we imagine terrorists to look like. They have more success if they are inconspicuous.

Philippine terrorists like those in the South don't hide like European terrorists, they rove in bands and are dressed ready for battle and do what they love to do most, you might have seen pictures of the Abu Sayaf and the Mautes, they roam in BDU (Battle dress uniform) because they actually control and have influence on mountain territories.

@DianneN oh they are, mosquitos get meaner after a typhoon, they desperately need blood for their eggs to be laid on a lot of stagnant water laying around.

@JudyEv true, I prefer to entertain guests and visitors here ( they enjoy it) than inside the house that is reserved for close relatives. My office in the " ante sala " is good too but too small when they have kids

It did quite a mess although we were not hit directly, same kid that hit Hong Kong and Guandong, Southern China. Bee keepers don't have an 18 inch blade jungle bolo or Philippine machete

@changjiangzhibin89 15 to 20 typhoons hit us yearly and after its done with us, it either goes to China, Japan, or Taiwan, at times South Korea, it's always us first since it always travels westward.

@flapiz I used to be like that, I had very sensitive skin but instead of running from it, I slowly exposed myself to the allergens, red ant bite use to give me a nasty swelling and would almost give me chills, so I caught a red ant and let it bite me, after a few days I catch another one and kept repeating till I was desensitized . Lots of foods I cannot eat but instead of avoiding I ate it in small amounts and gradually increased lol I'm crazy but it worked Deadly diseases like dengue and leptospirosis is what I avoid.

( I totally renovated this area now) We don't decorate for Halloween but we visit our dearly departed in cemeteries then have a family get together after
