ANTS IN MY LAPPY!!

Hello Mylotters... Say me what to do?? Since few days, I have been witnessing many ants coming out from keys in the laptop.. They hover around and again they get into the Keys.. Am so tensed and worried for my laptop.. This is my second laptop.. I don't wanna lose it..

Do you eat around your laptop so that crumbs are getting into your keys attracting ants? Just a thought. Not an accusation.

Sometimes, I do eat.. But when I had eaten, there were no ants.. After a week, I find them..

@anya12adwi It could still be crumbs that had gotten into the keys. I eat at my computer all the time and need to shake the crumbs from my keyboard from time to time.

Most likely, some crumbs even the smallest one have gotten into a keyboard. Ants have a strong sense of smell when it comes to food remnants.

@anya12adwi Well, even if you keep it in your brother's room , the ants will creep in there because they still can smell the crumbs.

Not sure , but need to get laptop out of dampness and put it into some sunlight and also , keep it away from food as much as possible.

@anya12adwi Don't try it unless you are good with it, coz if you are not able to assemble it back, you will be required to take to PC hardware and repair shop.

In our house also lots of ants are roaming here and there even on the bed. May be they are going for a tour from your laptop to my bed. Hahahahahahahahaha.

just spray deodorant on keyboard. it will help be careful not to spray large amount and switch off the lapi before spraying

I today sun dried lappy.. And after that I have not found any ants.. If I do find any ants after that, I will be using this trick of yours..

I hope you do not type while your eating something. Sometimes some of those food become stuck under your keyboard and some even could go beyond your computer circuitry that is why they become attracted to your laptop because of that. So better check on or bring it to your technician and have it cleaned up.
