Big Bang Theory is a TV series I like to watch. However, I found that there are many scenes that they use a lot of plastic bottle water. Everybody likes to consume plastic bottle water and they often hold it. They even have it at home when they have a meal.
I think this is too much. Today we already face a serious problem about the plastic pollution. I think sometimes TV shall not give us so many bad examples.

You would think that as most of the characters are scientists, one of them might mention the problem.
I used to think this was the best current sitcom bit I lost interest when they started getting married, having children, etc. The programme changed too much.

@youless Yes. I have no interest in the Young Sheldon spin-off show.

You are correct, and I would like to see television shows that teach more positive lessons even in something as subtle as the kind of container their beverages are in. Plastic pollution is a huge problem these days. Anyone who eats seafood is ingesting microplastic and it becomes part of their cells. No one knows what damage this will do in the long run.
