In Kosgoda the hatchery was revived after tsunamy.

Kosgoda in Sri lanka is famous for turtle hatchery. While the hatchery was created for nurturing baby turtles, few years back the entire hatchery was washed out in tsunamy. But it has been revived. Presently there are small tanks where turtles of different ages are propagated.
