spreadPOSITIVISM

It is the first day of October my friends and I am resting here watching TV and making a discussion. Since it is Monday and October 1st, positive vibrations should be felt around so there will be no misfortunes or bad luck and misunderstanding among people. But it is not the case here today. My son arrived last night at around 9:30 pm but had to bring the car for a celebration with the students at a famous food store. He came back after an hour. This morning too he left at 8:30 am and he kissed me goodbye. He also does the cheek to cheek kiss with my sister but when I went out, my son's face was cross and my sister was talking loud. I asked why. My sister said she refused the act because she was sweating; she was sweeping the garden with her usual sighs and rants. My son didn't feel good about that so he kissed me twice. My sister is once again "in her menopausal period " with that kind of attitude. I should keep quiet now although we had a heated argument again yesterday. How can you spread positivism in such a negative environment?

I know that your sister is moody, but in this case I can understand. I do not like to kiss people who are sweating, she was trying to be nice.

oh, my sister was not nice that time. she intentionally worked strenuously in the garden and did not wipe her sweat even though she had a franella in her shoulder (we have that to wipe our sweat). she intentionally refused the kiss of my son. even with the knocking of their heads is already good for my son, but my sister refused. they both spoke loud that i went out of the veranda, and also to traffic my son from the garage to the road. i then left her out and kept quiet.

@ridingbet Oh my goodness, I wonder why your sister is sometimes so rude.

too bad he broke off with his gf. now, he is eyeing on one co-teacher but he says it is not a priority for him because he wants to hone his teaching skills.

well she is right maybe, and maybe also wrong because she could have just accepted the kiss.. anyway.. “If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely”

my sister knew it was the first day of the month and first day of the week. because of her negativity, she will be in that kind of attitude until the 31st day of October.

kabsat, my sister was already menopaused since 1980s yet because she was operated on due to ovarian cysts. her attitude is like that of a woman in her menopausal stage---cranky and 'nonsense'.

Your son is such a sweet boy. To be honest, If I was perspiring, I wouldn't want anyone to kiss or touch their cheek against mine. As moody as your sister can be, I don't blame her in this instance.

@ridingbet Yep, I know your sister. She could have been much sweeter in saying goodbye to your wonderful son. Sigh....

@DianneN i think my sister was surprised before because my son applied for the job on Monday and was accepted on Wednesday, and she was not yet adjusted to the work time of my son. for me, even though i sleep late, i have to wake up early to prepare breakfast for my son.

if you know the attitude of my sister, you too will be disgusted. my son was showing respect by saying goodbye through the cheek to cheek kiss. my sister's face was cross, eyebrows meeting at the glabella, and pouting. she should have just said 'i am sweating' and offered her head but she was really rude in denying the kiss to my son.

Well I must first start with myself to make myself positive. That is the main issue. Others around me can find their own lol

right, but your positivism should spread around. by smiling at one, the smile will travel far, and that is positivism

Try to just ignore the negative and go with the positive things.

that was what my son did. he drove the car to school though i saw his disgusted face, and after i closed the gate, i did not say a word to my sister, and silence ''was golden''.

The only thing you can do is walk away and not say anything because anything you say will escalate the situation. Not saying anything will calm the situation down and might bring a smile or two from your sister.
