Good morning.Yesterday we went apple picking. This morning made an apple pie.I use mac. What type of apple do you use for your pie. It came out good. My next project will be apple crisp which I do not have good luck with. Then it will be pumpkin pie.Fall is the busiest time and the best to bake Have a good one.The photo is the pie

@amadeo Oh, you mean store bought ones you buy. We on the west coast and usually get Washington. They are crazy good and bigger than most apples.

@amadeo The pie in the picture looks very good. My grandfather used to make the best apple pies, but, here in Jerusalem there is a place that when I feel in the mood for an apple pie I go there. I like their pies.

Well done Alfredo! I bet it tasted delicious! I’ve always wanted to try apple picking. My boyfriend used to do picking jobs in Australia and he told me it is modern slavery but I still would want to experience it.

Your pie looks professionally made! Don't you just love picking your own apples? I prefer my apples fresh for munching. My favorites are Pink Lady, Gala, and Braeburn which aren't grown around here.
