Have you ever experienced Dejavu

Dustin in my Thoughts

I have many times. Dejavu is defined as: the illusion of remembering scenes and events when experienced for the first time and a feeling that one has seen or heard something before. This is a strong illusion and if you have ever felt or experienced it, chances are you will not forget. I will share with you briefly one of my experiences. I was alone. Always thinking of my son as I miss him more than anything. I was cleaning the house, busy working. All of a sudden out of nowhere I could feel his presence. I did not see anything. Did not hear anything. But I knew he was there. It took my breath away as I could feel him standing right beside me. It only lasts a few seconds, as always, but I long for that to happen again. The picture above is one of the last ones taken of Dustin. Have you had this happen before?

My thoughts Carol, Dustin's presence was actually there with you! Only a mother can fully know, when their child is close-by. What you experienced was real and nothing to be afraid of:)

I don;t remeber anything like that. But the most I miss my mom I used to watch my mom photo and at times used to cry. That night I usually dream of my mom.. But really wants that Dejavu experience you had. Wished my mom was there often like the experience you received.

@CarolDM There is a lot many to talk on my mother... Most and only uncomparable or most valuable person whom I gave first priority in my life. More than that how much I was cared by my mum, that I never will get from any...lot lot of my mother... but I am happy when my mum was alive I looked after her very well and mum never made no complaints on that on me..

I have had experiences sitting in the living room and I thought I saw my late parents looking at me from behind while I was playing baseball on the Nintendo Wii machine.

What you are experiencing is the spirit of your son, he was there to comfort you, to let you know that everything is okay. You really need to talk to @whiteream

I just caught up to this post Carol. I have felt it. Usually while out exploring new places... or maybe not so new. This brings to mind a memory I have. When I was 15 my parents bought an RV, sold the business, house and we set out on a year long adventure across the US. One small town, I don't even remember where, we were on a windy road about 5 miles from our destination. My mom says, I have been here. We all looked at here like, no you haven't. She said it wasn't in this lifetime. She then proceeded to tell us what the town looked like. In detail. Sure enough when we got there everything was exactly how she had said.

Oh wow you just gave me chills Kim. What a story. Thank you for sharing. I absolutely believe there is truth in it. Maybe can't explain it but who cares. I roll with it when I feel these feelings.
