Hello everyone, sorry to hear the sad news
It’s not often I visit here there days, however, I saw an email this morning saying that I had a comment on one of my posts. I scrolled down and saw one from Barry (Koalemos), but from last year, so I decided to go to his profile and saw it was February last time he posted, which I thought was strange.
During the day it’s been on my mind, so this evening, I thought I would come back to Mylot and check out a few things. I didn’t expect to read what I did, that Barry had passed away, in April. I first saw Barry on Bubblews and we always had a thing about how much rain Manchester had to Plymouth. He made me laugh so much over the years. I remember him retiring from work and then going on many trips abroad, I'm sure he's sadly missed online.
I wish I had known sooner than I have, R.I.P Barry, you were one of a kind.
I guess I should come on Mylot more.

@amadeo Here is a link to one of the posts about his passing.
I pray he is resting in peace and now that he's no longer in pain can laugh at the silliness we shared with him. He was one of the funniest people I've had the...

Barry was more active when we were in the old Mylot than when it started again that's why most new members do not know him, probably because he was busier on the other site. A well mannered man he is with great humor I miss him too as much as you do. He was strong willed and always postive even when he was posting about being ill.R.I.P. Barry.

@kevin1877uk active but not as active I guess, it's either that or I was less active or by chance we simply had lesser interaction on the new format.

I had not heard this ...very sad...I remember reading his posts a lot ...I was also on Bubblews too.

@Traceyjayne I did pop into the site towards the end but it took all day to earn a few cents lol. Glad you liking it here!! I guess there are other things in life that keep us away from here from time to time.

@kevin1877uk I haven't been on here for a couple of months , which may explain why I haven't seen the news before. I was on Bubblews I think for a couple of years ...I was there at the end....It got a bit messy on there at the end didn't it !. Im pleased I found this site though x

I've been in tears reading comments on other posts, I didn't realize he wasn't well, he never said back in January when I was on here. I knew he had some tests done towards the end of last year. I can't believe he's gone.

I mentioned to another member recently now Barry helped me out with computer issues and that I miss his help. She didn't know who he was either and so I shared a link of his profile.
I haven't seen you about much either. I come and go, but although it might be a week between my visits, I try not to miss my notifications, and recently I've been here a lot more than normal, but now that I'm back to work we'll see.
I couldn't remember whether I knew Barry from bubblews, so I'm glad that you mentioned that. It was a very sad day not only when we knew his days were numbered, but even before that when he first found out he had the cancer. I think he had symptoms but didn't follow through on it quick enough and when he did it went rather fast.

There were many sad myLotters when Barry passed away. He has been really missed.
