Right when I thought movies could not get much more intense

I just watched a movie with my wife, we managed to get hold of, from our local public library. It was a Blu-Ray movie about a man who, throughout the entire movie killed people with a hammer and other weapons and it seemed like I was seeing directly through the mind of a demon possessed serial killer. I will not even give it one thumb up but would prefer to give it a long greased 10 foot nail up and spin. This kind of stuff is almost as seriously gross and morbid as Faces of Death, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scar Face and Fear The Walking Dead, wrapped up in blood red wrapping and tied together with a bow made of barbed wire.

Oh, the movie was too bad for me to name the title. And I will try to remember Not to mention it. If you have seen the movie, well, it would indeed be self explanatory. But if not, you are better off not.

@DianneN , The movie should have been in a box with a big red warning. MAY RUIN YOU FOR LIFE.

Remember when movie makers like Alfred Hitchcock could create terror by showing something like just a tiny bit of blood swirling down a drain?

@xander6464 , I hope the movies that are very old and suffer from aging, can be somehow carefully restored and preserved. I see some movies that were done in black and white that should be preserved in black and white but if they want to colorize them they should both do a colorized computer enhanced version along with an original digitally mastered copy of the original done in black and white or sepia tone. Part of the appeal some movies had was the simple fact they were not in color and made people stop and think about how things were long ago, before all the new technology. Nostalgia is what I am more or less about. I may enjoy good color remakes of the older films but give me an original black and white and I enjoy it just as well.

You make a very valid point. And you know that those classics will never lose their following. Even with future generations of movie watchers. Because the classics were just that, original and appropriate and showed good taste in their era.

Some movies go to far with that stuff. But I guess it is easier than thinking up a real story line.

That is one reason I find them boring as well as excessively gross and morbid. I have had enough of those types of garbage. Not a fan.

sounds like my kind of ridiculously over the top gore movie.

Sounds like a fun time, a shame that you did not leave the title.

I just can't bring myself to reveal the title. I will leave it as a myLot mystery that one day might be solved.

@lookatdesktop Can you at least give a year it was made so a creepy girl can enjoy her terrifying movies.

@DesirousDreamer , No sorry. I just can't bring myself to do this. Anyway, you will be able to find it in current releases anyway. The main actor is really into playing the role with such exertion that it pains me and I actually felt sorry for that person to have to be brought down to such a low level in their acting career. It seems that actors that get type cast into playing roles of the bad villain their career is on the decline when their past acting was more the good character in the story line.

How anyone enjoy watching all that gore and violence I can never understand. Perhaps it cater to our baser instinct and the need to let off steam? Although I would prefer a gym workout.

It was one of those types of movies like a train wreck that you just can't keep your eyes off while watching things go from bad to very bad to catastrophic.
