I looked in the mirror

I was visiting at my brother's house and looked in the mirror. Lo and behold, I have my daddy's hair. It is not noticeable if I have it long, but short as it is, it stands out, because it is thick and it stands up. As I age I look more and more like family.

You probably take better care of yourself. My sis says that someone she met, that had been my acquaintance, recognized the resemblance we have, but again, I have been better taken care of and have nicer skin.

I think so. I do not have his clear blue eyes, but his hair has always been great.

I have my daddy's hair and I look a lot like my father, aging and looking at his photos at my age, I would say that we look almost like twins.

For sure, somehow you will get the semblance of the family.

It is easier to manage with our parents' looks than with a lot of stuff that they have been hoarding.

In truth we all are. I had much rather have my dad's hair than my mom's as his has been thick.

I look like my dads side of the family mostly. But I did get my mothers very fine thin hair.

Yes, it is funny how we are a combination of both, always.

I'm such a mixture that it takes a while for people to understand my mom is my mom and my dad is my dad. My hair, isn't even something from either of them. I had blonde hair like both my mom and dad and though my hair was going toturn a dark brown like my dad's but instead it turned into an auburn color like my family on my mom's side. I'm just a mixture of everything haha

We all really are. Somewhere in my past there may have been a person with auburn hair.

@GardenGerty With my mom she is the spitting image of her dad, she barely looks like my grandma at all. My dad is kind of a mix of his mom and dad but more like his mother. With me, when I have my glasses on I look kind of more like my dad but with my glasses off I look like my mom, it is kind of crazy.
