What Else Can Happen

Everyone knows about my better half's knee problem and now on top of that he broke his toe. He's wearing a big shoe to hold it in place and prevent any more damage. Today we went to visit my daughter in law and when we got in the car to leave her yard, the car refused to start. My better half called triple A and after two hours they came with a tow truck. They hauled it away to a garage and we called another son to drive us home. We stopped at the garage on the way home and the mechanic told us they are ordering a part for the car and it will be ready to drive off the lot by Thursday or Friday. What else can happen? We'll see.

Car trouble always sucks, It's so expensive to have a break down. We were afraid it was the transmission but they said no it was a chain broken and could be replaced easily. If you know more about cars than I do you might know the problem. The motor would run but the car wouldn't move. my daughter in law knew right away what it was. My son works on hydraulics and my grandson is a mechanic so she listens to these problems more than I do.

Some days we just have bad luck not to long ago my car broke down as well it was terrible not having the car for a few days and having to pay. Better days will come.

Yes, it happens to everyone sooner or later. At least we don't have to go out for the next couple of days. I have plenty of groceries in the pantry.

He wasn't sure, he remembered stumping it but it didn't hurt much at the time and he didn't think that it was broken. He's wearing the big shoe to protect it.

I'm sorry you're having troubles. I hope your husband's toe heals quickly, but I expect it will be at least 6 weeks. Is this the car that had that funny sound your better half couldn't hear?

Oh dear, that would be so annoying. It doesn't seem they can do anything for a broken toe except strap it. Sorry to hear about the car.

There was nothing they could do for the toe other have him wear a big oversized shoe to protect the toe until it heals. We got the car back in good running order.
