How can I work if these are on my lap?

Well, I'm supposed to be manning the store. But how will I stand up if these cats are on my lap? Good thing there are no customers yet... (wait... that's a good thing? We want customers!)
It was just one of them at first. That's more manageable. But mama cat decided to join in. Uh-oh. Well... when a customer arrives, sorry cats, you will be thrown off! 
By the way, long time no visit, mylot. 
I think I was gone about a month (or more) this time. I actually prepared a series of posts before disappearing. Hopefully soon, I'll get around to posting those. :)

We used to have dogs, but they have all gone on... These cats started out as just one stray cat my mother decided to feed. She stayed. 
My father hated cats before, but he's fine with these now. Turns out they are self-cleaning to an extent. Unlike the dogs who pooped all over the garage, 
these cats just do their business in the litter box. 
But one thing I haven't figured out is how to give these cats a bath. (Still afraid they will claw at me.) Had no problem with the dogs (which were born here).
Anyway, best would be to read up a bit on the dog you want to get before getting it.

The cats do clean themselves all the time. But sometimes I see a few fleas on them.
I bought this tick and flea spray and have used it a few times. Not really sure if it works. The cats usually run off when I spray them. But sometimes I get away with spraying it on their comb instead. Haha.

@moirai thank you so much for these informations, i prefer dogs because they're more fun and loyal and everything, but i'm very concerned about the pooping thing, so i think i'll read everything about them before looking for one. By thr way, i've been told by my cousin who had a cat for years in oaris that cats need only to shower once or twice per year.
