What are your plans on your retirement?

I see myself and my husband live in a countryside. I would like to do gardening, love to have dogs and go into horticulture. Gardening is a relaxing thing. It is nice to eat things that can be found in your garden. Would travel perhaps from time to time. Strolling around specially in places with lots of trees is fun. What about you? What are your plans on your retirement?

Pretty much the same . I want to move in a house, I live in an apartment now, somewhere in the countryside. But it's gonna take a while, probably 20 years or more .

Yes. It’s better to live in a wooded area by the lake or river. Ah, mother nature.

@Janet357 one of my dreams, a house or a cabin in the mountains with a lake nearby... Fingers crossed!

@Kasjnak awwww i love it. I always imagine such place too. But romania has it right? The only fear i have, living in a mountain is a landslide during rainy season.

I really can't think that far ahead! I'd like to travel a bit and also probably concentrate on learning music.

@Janet357 I'd like to play the guitar. I do play it now, but not often.

I already availed of early retirement 11 years ago and I'm enjoying early morning walks, trimming our lawn and plants and attending meetings of our cooperative as member of the investment committee and the technical working group which oversees construction/renovation work. In fact, we/re busy at the moment putting up a hotel. Also visited our daughters in NZ twice.

@Janet357 No more travelling for me, I did all that when I was young. Now I am just hoping to have peace.

I don't have plans to retire. Maybe because I'm still young.

Both my husband and I are retired, but being an artist I still paint and sell my work. My husband is still working in his field and loving it - just once a week. We both still make good money and we go south in the winter. I love camping and do that with my sister and family who wants to do it every summer. We live in the woods so all we can grow are herbs but we love the feel of mother nature.
