Heyyy, peeps. I’m doing another writing prompt: “Think about your favorite fall memory and write about as vividly as you can. What does that memory mean to you now?”
I have several fond memories of the fall season, but the first one that comes to mind was our family trip to Summer’s Farm in 2015. It was me, my Mom, my older sister and her husband, their kids, my younger sister and her boyfriend. It was about $12 or so to get into the farm, but all the activities were free. The only thing you had to pay for was food, beverages and I think pumpkins if you wanted one.
Summer’s Farm was full of activities for everyone. A bouncing area, hayride, slides, photo ops, etc. They stopped all the activities in the evening for a fireworks show, and we all went through a big corn maze together. I think it was in the shape of Taylor Swift’s head, and you had to guess clues (or in our case, Google them lol) to get through it. It was a bit chilly, but it was a lot of fun. Everyone spent the day just laughing and having a good time, which makes our family trip one of my favorite fall memories.
What is your favorite fall memory?
I guess I’ll go ahead and post the Gratitude Challenge in a bit. I’ll see you then, everyone.

Great picture! Love that chair! Your trip sounds wonderful. Great memories.
I don't have a lot of fall memories. One is a bonfire before Homecoming in high school It was a chilly night so the bonfire felt good. Another was a hayride, but I'm not exactly sure when that happened, though I'm sure I was also in high school at the time, though I don't think it was a school-related activity.

My best Fall memories are of the time spent in France with my husband when we were young. I remember going to the Autumn Fairs, they used to sell roasted chestnuts, there were candies and art and crafts that local people took the the stalls. The one in the photo is a really big chair.

Most of my memories associated with Latvia and the time I lived there. I guess my favorite autumn memory is going to a Fall Harvest Festival with my husband that they had every year at the Open AIr Museum.

@tammys85 displays of various animals. Some traditional dances. Homemade ceramics you could buy. Food made from products of the fall harvest. You could buy fresh produce from Latvian countryside and it was a fun day. I remember one time they also had rabbits, chickens, and goats to sell. But of course not for city folk. We lived in the suburbs and there if we wanted to we could raise rabbits or chickens but we where neve big on farming.

@Courtlynn Probably. It was fun though. A little chilly, and tiring, but fun.
