dogs guarding GATE_

Our dogs stay at the gate, apparently waiting for my son. He called me up and said he is in the newly-opened mall and buying some groceries.
Once my son buzzes the doorbell, there is a brief barking of our dogs then all of them come inside the house as I open the gate for my son to drive the car in.
I like how our dogs guard the gate; they bark when the dogs of neighbors bark at them.

@ridingbet Exactly what happens when someone walk their dogs in our private road, the dog of the neighbor barks back and all the neighbors get their heads out of the window and shout "silence! be quiet!".

Dogs are really protective of their masters and hopefully they don't bite the hand that feeds them,

they don't. they are vaccinated with anti-rabies that is why they are sweet pet dos. i like it when around 3 of them come to me, upper limbs outstretched and want me to pet them

no, they have their morning and afternoon naps. when it is late afternoon, some of them stay near the gate and relax there, occasionally barking at dogs that intimidate them, or persons who wait for transportation near our gate.

my son opens our door at around 4:30 for the dogs to empty their bladders or poop, then they can come back in or sleep in the veranda. they bark though if the dogs outside start barking at them

yes, i am happy they are good guard dogs. but my sister is sometimes cranky on them, but not to the dog of our kid brother.

Lily is not a dog, but she guards the yard. Yesterday I saw her staring down a cat who was trying to come into her yard.

we have 11 dogs: 2 Japanese Spitz, 1 local mutt, 2 Pomeranian, and 6 mixed breed of Shih Tzu and Spitz

My partner also likes to have dogs in the house because he said they guard the house and for added security. I don't particularly like them because surrounding gets dirty. Except the cute ones I can play with as long as they don't grow up lol

it is not really possible to have miniature dogs but when they grow up, they have to increase in size and their appetite also increases.

yes i hope that thieves or robbers won't come inside our house. i hope our dogs smell these persons' interest to steal.
