I watched Everything, Everything this morning. It is based on the book by Nicola Yoon (which I just read). It has Amandla Stenberg, Nick Robinson, Ana de la Reguera, Taylor Hickson, Anika Noni Rose, Danube Hermosillo, Robert Lawrenson, Peter Benson, Françoise Yip, and Marion Eisman in it. Big Warning: it is emotional and one sex scene. Quick summary: a girl who has rare disease who can't go outside, falls in love with a guy. There are some differences between the book and movie. 1. Olly's eye color is blue. 2. In the book, Olly teases Maddy how to do a handstand. In the movie, she knows how to do one. 3. Olly is into parkour in the book. In the movie, he's not. 4. They email each other in the book. In the movie they use cellphones and text. In the book, she doesn't have a cellphone until the end of the book. 5. Maddy's bathing suit is bright pink in the book. In the movie, it's yellow. I think her mother had Munchausen syndrome by proxy (info below) because she refused to think that her daughter wasn't sick. Even though there were differences between the book and movie, I really enjoyed both. They both are thought-provoking. Monday I'm still watching Garage Sale Mystery: The Pandora Box Murders. And I will watch Miss Peregrine's House for Peculiar Children as soon as I finish reading the book. Here's the info on Munchausen syndrome by proxy:

Is that the one where she takes off with him to Hawaii? If it is, I really enjoyed that movie.

Will we need a lot of kleenex for this movie?

I have this book on my list of "to read" but didn't realize it was already a movie. Sounds like a movie I'd like
