Tasting Turkey Hill Chocolate Maple Cream cookies

A made in Canada product that I picked up while traveling in Canada. As you can see from the packaging, the cookies are shaped like maple leafs which are Canada’s symbol. They are much thicker than Oreos but chocolate cookie flavor is not as good as Oreo. Still passable though. It is all about the cream filling and Oreo missed the boat not using maple flavor. These are made with 100% maple syrup and boy can taste a rich strong flavor. No mistaking the maple. Very good cookies though perhaps much too sweet for some palates.

They sound like something I would like to try. I do like maple leaf cookies that come out of Canada. I have had them several times.

That is our favorite ice cream and it is cheaper than the expensive brands and there is a great selection.

I do like the flavor of maple and those remind me of a maple cookie that I bought years ago at a discount store.

I love the maple cookies also, but have never seen them in chocolate-that might be a bit too much sweetness all at once.

Maple syrup isn't huge here but it's on the shelves.

I play Putt Putt with a guy who's a "maple syrup snob," if you will. I don't know that I've ever had "the real thing," but he swears if you ever have it you'll never accept artificially-flavored maple syrup again.

I have purchased the tea before but I guess they don't sell the cookies here, I bet they are good with the maple syrup. I had a bottle I bought when I went home to Michigan one year, It was in a bottle shaped like a maple leaf and was amazing
