Be nice

When I interact with unknown people, on the street, with clerks or others, I always smile and I pay attention to small details and their body language. I dunno why I do this, it's like a reflex, but I must admit it pays off . For instance, after a few encounters, clerks always tell me which fruits and vegetables are fresh and which ones I should avoid. They even go search for the best ones in the back. And this happens almost everytime.
The point is, being nice to people, smiling, telling a little joke and paying attention to details is easy. My goal is to see happy faces and when I see someone sad or worried, if I can interact with them, I will and I'll try to bring a smile to their face. Be nice with people and most of them will be nice to you too .
Do you think it's easy to be nice?

I am extra good with food servers, taxi and bus drivers, but in general I am nice to people especially those I have encountered for the first time.. LOL

I think it's easy especially it is already our nature... Whenever I meet someone my lips automatically smile like a moon of banana shape.

Yes, being nice pays off. When I was new in my job three years ago there was one lady I always saw in the halls and she always gave me a big smile, it made my day go well.Mostly being nice does not really cost us anything at all.

I always say this to my friends, a smile costs you what? Nothing! A simple smile can help avoid a difficult situation sometimes, I saw many people getting into a fight for nothing. I was in similar situations, a smile and a kind word helped a lot .

I would guess that it is easier for some than for others. However, we can all work on being nice and then we would have a nicer world. If we sow nice then we will reap nice. Have a nice day!

It happened to me in more than one ocasion. Last time was yesterday, I was ready to pay for my groceries and the lady at the counter saw that some of the vegetables I bought were not very fresh. There were many people waiting in line, but she left and changed my vegetables with better looking ones, couldn't stop her.

We tend to respond to how we are treated, so why not smile?

Usually they are nice too, sometimes I come across some mean people, but in most cases I still manage to make them smile and change spirit. Those that are still mean... they are a lost cause .

This is a good way to live every day. I am polite to people I meet in public. If I am kind to them usually they are kind in return. I know that most people want to be treated with respect and politeness. The golden rule is one we need to follow: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Yes, I believe this is a very effective way of living, it helps if you want a happy life. Easy to be polite, easy to be nice, easy to be good, even if life is hard sometimes. And I would never ask anyone to do something I wouldn't do it myself. Something similar with "Do unto..." .
