Solution for a very expensive rice.

One way to cut the burden of buying very expensive rice is to plant it when you have enough and good lands for planting it but not everyone has those. My husband's family planted rice this year on their rice field. They weren't able to harvest it yet but harvest time is near. We also have a rice field but we stopped planting there a long time ago because sea water can reach the field during high tides. Crops die of salt water. Anyway, photo taken by me during our weekend short vacation.

We are lucky to have harvested a few sacks. Yes I am also into planting to deal with the higher prices. Mostly ginger, turmeric, lemon, kalamansi, kamias, malunggay, maybe some sweet potato.

Wow. We're planning to do the same. Planting can really save us more money. By the way, I've already planted lemons this year and it's my first time.

@yoalldudes Yeah. You can just bought some lemons and plant it's seeds after. You can watch youtube on how to plant it. It's very easy.

@renicemae It is just a small plot near the house. Good thing you have planted lemons. I wish for a lemon tree with lots of yellow lemon fruits. They delicious with honey. And healthy too.

here several acre of irrigation has been built so that the land for farming is decreasing and sometimes if the rainfall is too high it causes crop failure.

But planting a crop demand a lot of care. We don't have the time and land.
