Better late than never to post my report as we're now into the second week of October. Last month, my crockpot and stove recipes had some hits and misses and one incomplete as followed. So it was a pretty decent month overall. 1. Crockpot Cheesy Mac N Cheese: A+. Yes, even the second time tastes better and even the same as last time. And encore helpings for leftovers made it even so much better. 2. Crockpot Cheesy Bacon Casserole: A-. This was delicious and oh so filling. I loved how it came together in the crockpot. And leftovers were amazing to reheat and eat too. 3. Cheesy Broccoli Twice-Baked Potatoes: B. I've made this last week. Though it's a side dish, I've made for a main meal. My potato skins did fall apart after I scooped out the potatoes and added the cheesy mixture. But it was filling enough without any leftovers. 4. Healthier Broiled Tilapia Parmesan: A-. Instead of broiling it, I baked it on the stove. I did have a bit of an issue with the coating that won't stick. And since I've gotten this recipe from the spring issue of All Recipes magazine, it was an unexpected bonus. 5. White Cheese Chicken Lasagna: A-. This wasn't too bad even by using one lasagna noodle broken in half. It was all I could fit into my pat to boil it. I also had an issue with layering the lasagna since I ran out of it and didn't make enough. 6. Vegan Shepherd's Pie-Incomplete. I had trouble mashing the potatoes with the fork and whisk. So I knew I needed to get a potato masher. I got it yesterday. But then my saved potatoes went bust. So I'll be making it this weekend with my petite yukon potatoes and give it a go. 7. One Pan Orechiete Pasta: C-. The pasta was pretty much half-cooked and half-uncooked even covered with sauce. I think I had a bad night making it. So I'll be redeeming myself and making it again in a month or two. No leftovers either. 8. Pesto Pasta with Chicken--A. This was an amazing salad dish that was filling enough with two whole servings in one bowl. I loved how delicious it was too. 9. One Pot Spinach and Mushroom Bowtie Pasta--A+. This was another delicious pasta dish. I didn't mind the mushroom bit either. I made two servings and had no leftovers. 10. Crockpot BBQ Ranch Chicken Buns-A.+. So delicious and easy to make for one sandwich and enough for two. 11. Crockpot Bacon Brown Sugar Sausages-A+. Another amazing dish like the ones with the Lil Smokies I've made awhile back. This was even better than that. 12. Mama's Best Broiled Tomato Sandwich-A+. I love this recipe and paired it with a salad. I've made two sandwiches in the place of one. I would make it again and have it on a Friday night. Here's what I'm making this month to help me gain some weight. Since I didn't get my newest issue of All Recipes Magazine for October/November yet, probably this week, I've selected new recipes to try from the previous 3 magazines, including side dishes too. 1. Crockpot Chicken N Gravy (Pinterest). Though I've done this before from Recipes that Crock earlier this year, this one had a slight variation to it. I had it tonight with biscuits and mashed potatoes. 2. Loaded Hash Brown Potato Soup (Pinterest). Since the weather can be predictable, it's also the perfect time to add some soups to the menu. 3. Oven Roasted Vegetables (All Recipes). This side dish could accompany any meal. 4. Sweet Potato Casserole (All Recipes). You've got to love sweet potatoes. 5. Dukkah Chicken Cutlets And Eggs (All Recipes Magazine, Spring issue). This recipe is packed with calories and looked good enough to eat and to try. 6. Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Chicken and Veggies (Pinterest). This recipe has plentiful of veggies to accompany this meal. 7. Baked Potato and Mushrooms with Spinach (All Recipes). This side dish could be another great one to try with any fish or chicken dish. 8. Parmesan Potato Wedges (Pinterest). This side dish could be even healthier than French fries. 9. Green Beans with Cherry Tomatoes (All Recipes Magazine, August/Sept issue). This dish looks easy enough to make to any meal. 10. Oven Roasted Sweet Potatoes (All Recipes). Another perfect side dish. 11. Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast (All Recipes Magazine, spring issue). This recipe is so tempting to be a new breakfast dish on a day off from the gym or on the weekend. 12. Maple Glazed Sweet Potatoes with Bacon and Caramelized Onions (All Recipes). Another delicious side dish to fill my stomach. 13. Healther's Grilled Salmon (All Recipes Magazine, summer issue). This is my only fish meal for the month and looks delicious too. 14. Rosemary-Lemon Grilled Chicken Breasts, All Recipes Magazine, summer issue.) This looks amazing. I hope I have brought enough chicken for it. So that's what on my menu for this month starting tonight. What's on your plate?

Looks like a good month of meals. I always mash my potatoes with my electric mixer, works great and makes fluffy potatoes.

Tonight was homemade chili, with sour cream and cheese cubes. Side of homemade cornbread. Microwave baked cinnamon apples.

I really like the way you planned meals and graded them. I should try doing it. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds good. I am a lazy cook because I just cook for myself so I make whatever is convenient like hamburgers, chicken, fish, and pasta.

You must have a huge collection now of dishes you can make in the crockpot.
