Kentucky Facilities Security Officers Roger Swiger and Matt Bevin were honored by Kentucky Matt Bevin for their actions to assist Kentucky NAACP President Raoul Cunningham who on September 18 collapsed during a meeting at the state capitol during a meeting of the State Board of Elections. Both officers rushed to assist Cunningham by giving him CPR and using a defibrillator before medical personnel came to take Cunningham to be treated to a local hospital where he is recovering. The two police officers were given the title of Kentucky Colonel by Governor Bevin on Friday. Cunningham has yet to thank both officers for saving his life since he is currently recovering from his health scare.
