Chilly Monday

It's quite grey and chilly today. We're supposed to get some rain later. It definitely feels like fall today. We went to the park for a little while, earlier today, but we weren't there long. The kids were getting cold pretty quickly. It was nice as we saw some police officers on horses, while we were there. They walked through the park, they stopped, and the kids, mine and others who were there, were able to pet the horses. It was really nice. Right now, we're just enjoying the day off, before our kids tomorrow. As nice as it has been to have a long weekend with them, it will be kind of nice to have a break while they're at school and daycare.

Yesterday afternoon was quite warm. like a summer day almost. Today, it's cloudy and has gotten a bit cooler.

The police officers usually ride very tall and beautiful horses, I am sure the kids loved to pet them.

yes, the horses were pretty big. The kids loved being able to pet them. They had huge smiles on their faces.

I bet the kids liked that. I remember seeing the mounties in Canada. They are impressive.

Yes, my kids loved it. The Mounties are pretty cool to see. These were Montreal police, but still cool to see.

LOL! I hear ya! Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving. We had Columbus Day here and visited a couple of fairs. Always fun to do, even if it was misty and cool.

Mounted police do a good job of fostering good relations with the public - or at least the horses do.

Lol. Yes, the horses were really nice with it. but it was also nice of the officers to come over and talk and let the kids pet the horses.

That's cool that they got to pet the horses. And that they were left with a good impression of the police officers. It was pretty warm today, but the wind made it better.

Yes, it was really nice of them, and it left them with a good impression of the officers. I think we're supposed to get warm weather tomorrow, but we'll see.
