The best potato chips "crisps" I ever had were in the UK, Brannigan's chips were amazing. I loved the roast beef and mustard ones, but they were all good. We simply don't have chips that delicious in the United States. I was just looking on Amazon to see if they were available, and I almost fainted from the sticker shock,,,so always curious, and looking to save a buck I looked at Amazon UK, they are available for a fraction of the price..I don't think the shipping would be 50 dollars..so it would probably be much cheaper to buy them there..they also have Prime available..I wonder if you have Prime US, if you can use it on the UK site too? What are your favorite chips?

We bought Layss chips when in the UK. Lol! I loved Charles Chips in the large canister the most, but think they went out of business.

@Tampa_girl7 Homemade potato chips are the best. I made some in my air fryer recently. They were good, but I like the homemade french fries better.

Brannigans crisps are also my favorite, I can find those "chips" in a specialty store here in Switzerland. The pirce of £15 shown on Amazon.uk is for a back of 18.

@snowy22315 I also would not buy a large quantity. There is an online uk store that sells them a lot cheaper £2.40 for 5 packs of "Beef & Mustard" variety. If you want to have a look it's britishcornershop.co.uk/brannigans-beef-and-mustard-5-pack

@LadyDuck OH Thanks, I wonder what the shipping would be? I probably am not going to buy any, I was just researching Brannigans a bit when I started thinking of the chips. If the shipping isn't prohibitive though I would think about it.

Yesterday, I was craving plain Lays for some reason, although I normally like flavored chips.

We have the potato chips which are served with fish and then the manufactured potato chips which I guess are crisps. I like Pringles chips although I'm not fussy.

I rarely get the chance to eat REAL potato chips. I do know how to make them but I'm way too lazy to prepare. Today at the grocery I just grabbed a pack of my favorite local brand of potato chips. It's BBQ flavored. :)

Yes you can use the prime on the UK site too. My favorite of the English potato chips are Walkers Bacon flavored. For American I like Ruffles.
