And The Mixtape Tour Has Been Confirmed....

This is lengthy, sorry. You all know where the back button is lol. ;) Sooo, New Kids On The Block were on The Today Show this morning to confirm what we already knew - the 2019 tour. It's called the "Mixtape Tour" - and the line-up also includes Naughty by Nature, Salt-n-Pepa, Tiffany and Debbie Gibson. I only know a few songs by them, but it's all good because I'm mainly going for NKOTB anyways. But it'll be cool to see the other artists live, of course. :) They're not coming to Baltimore, but they are coming to DC, which is where we saw them last time. They're also coming to Philly and Hershey, but I think we're gonna stick with DC since it's 45 minutes to an hour away, where as the other locations are 2-3 hours away. If people are willing, I'll use them as a "back-up plan" (if DC doesn't work out, which I'll get to in a minute), but for now, I'm just focusing on DC. I wish they were coming to Baltimore, but I understand why they're not - it's not exactly the biggest arena and I think there's gonna be two stages again. The only reason I would even consider a "back-up plan" is because I'm not getting the tickets when they go on sale this week. My goal is to get them around April or May (when people get their taxes back), as our show is in June. I'm still saving for Wrestlemania 35 and I have Christmas shopping to start soon. On top of that, it's just not affordable for any of us right now. Maybe if I were getting cheaper seats again, buttttttttt.....nah. :) Yep, as a few of you know, I'm saving up to get floor seats, which will probably be $120 at the cheapest. I'm not 100% sure yet, but I'll do a "mock purchase" during the presale or public sale this week and get a better idea. Right now, I have $50ish saved up. My funds are on pause for Wrestlemania 35 and Christmas shopping, as the scalpers eat up the 'Mania tickets worse than the NKOTB ones, and you know I love my Christmas shopping (go figure, one of the Christmas songs on my NKOTB playlist just started playing lol). I'll resume the NKOTB funds in January. I still have an extra 4-5 months to save up, so I'm sure I can make it work. I sat in the stands/upper levels in 2016 and 2017, and I'm so ready to get closer to my boys this time around. I'm hoping they do what they've been doing, and that's go into the audience for "Tonight" (and hopefully "Block Party" like the last time, as that's one of my favorite songs by them). While I'm partial to Jordan and Donnie, I'll be happy to be near any of them during their interactions. When we sold our 400's section seats and bought 200's section in 2017, there were still floor seats left, and that was in March (and tickets were on sale in November), so I'm hoping that repeats itself so we can get on the floor this time around. I know the traveling and prices may not be worth it to others, but it's worth it to me. I've said it a million times, but they've been my favorite group since 1989, when I was just 4yrs old. Oh, and they're coming to DC on June 25th, 2019, same date as the last time. It's also the anniversary of when my Daddy went to the hospital (the last time I ever saw him). BUT WAIT. THERE'S MORE. The guys also released a new song, which you can find on iTunes and YouTube, called "80s Baby", and they did the song with the line-up of their tour. AND ONE MORE THING.... They're also going to be on Entertainment Tonight at 7:30pm EST, according to the group Twitter account. AND IN UNRELATED NEWS.... There's a rumor that Shawn Michaels is going to be on WWE Raw tonight. My favorite band and my favorite wrestler? And it's not even my birthday lol. Welp, these NKOTB tickets aren't going to pay for themselves, so I'm out. I'll be back soon, peeps.
