THE WAVE OF THE SUN AFTER THE RAIN It's been raining hard for a week Behind the clouds the sun never peeps It hides, and maybe needs a space To ease the heart that's been on a race. I need to shed tears To wash away my sorrow and fears My heart is continuously breaking And I can't stop it from aching It started with a drop Until it seems hard to stop I need to do it now So, I can find the answer to how. My yesterdays have been so bitter And I've been into clutter My mind and heart continue to clash And so I needed some hush. While I am in the stillness I reminisce those times in bliss I wish, I may it'll all fade away My eyes are washed and I must stray. For the sun is up As it's rays shines bright So as my soul alight After that sleepless nights.
