Driving into town this morning I could see all the people heading out of town. Unfortunately I don't have that luxary. I've gotta work today. Unless things get a whole lot worse, a whole lot sooner than they are guessing then I work till 545 tonight.
I'm at Walmart right now and most of the aisles are pretty bare. Water is depleated, so is bread and a lot of the Ramen noodles and canned goods.
It'll be interesting to see what happens the rest of today and tomorrow.

People stock up here sometimes for the flimiest of reasons - like one day holiday more than they're used to. You'd think they were going to a desert island for a month.

At this point, I'd have to go further than Biloxi to get away and we don't have the funds for that. So we are going to hunker down.
It started raining earlier this morning and the wind is blowing. Neither of them are happening especially hard yet.
I'm supposed to work this afternoon but I'm hoping that our DM comes to her senses and closes the store.

looks menacing. I dont like the way it has bene created so close to America and revved up in that area. It could slam into America like a spinning top .This is he most dangerous storm for a while threatening Florida.
