Do you have any Garage Sale tips / ideas?

Hey. I hope everyone is doing well. I am feeling....let's just say stressed. The reason as to why I am feeling this will no doubt relate to many of you here. I am fine! Overall I am doing pretty good but it's just the fact that Christmas is approaching....again. I love Christmas but I am still trying to recover from last year lol As much as I love giving cards and presents to loved ones, it still makes me a bit depressed. Once the holiday starts dying down, I can see how much my funds had gone down with it. Family and friends are aware of my troubles ( still working on depression / anxiety and trying to study / get job etc ) but I can't not do something for them. I don't go over board but I still make sure I do something nice. Anyway, so this brings me to my Garage Sale question/s. I've done 3-4 Garage Sales before years ago. I still have a LOT of things that I have been trying to sell. So I decided to squeeze a Garage Sale in before Christmas hoping to make extra cash and get rid of things. Do you have any tips / ideas / advice on trying to make a Garage Sale more appealing? I know how to advertise, set it up etc but thought maybe there was more I could learn to bring in more people. Anything you can share about a Garage Sale you have done or one you have been to? All answers are appreciated.

I would say post it in Facebook marketplace and garage sale threads, on Craigslist, and make signs. And tell your friends! I have noticed at garage sales most of what sells for me is household items. Clothes never really sell that well for me. Best of luck!

Just a thought, but print up a few one page flyers about how you make extra money on MyLot and give them away.

That's something I've never done. People use carboot sales here to get rid of their stuff, but I've nevr done that either.
