Time flies. This might be my last post in this series as I am not sure that I will be able to catch them later. The chicks are no more chicks. They are little birds hopping around on my terrace and many a times fluttering their wings to take short flights. So maybe one day I wake up to find that they have taken their first long flight and are gone. Don't they still look adorable?? Once they are gone, we will miss them but for sure I will be happy to clean the mess.

It was great, once again I was able to see them. It was great when it was about to see the sky outside.

@theend I will not be able to recognize them then as they will look like other pigeons who keep visiting my terrace.

@arunima25 They will remember where they were born and will return when it is safe.

They are cute. But what are they? They look like chickens but they also look like ducks?

@arunima25 It is my first time to see a baby pigeon. I didn’t know they had golden fluff.

@flapiz When freshly hatched they were like tiny yellow fur balls.

I think they look much better once they have a few feathers. Yes, one day soon they'll be gone. I hope they don't regard your terrace as home and return each and every evening.

@arunima25 Perhaps she is old enough to help clean the terrace each morning?

pretty little birds. i wonder if they have the trait of gratitude? they should always come back and thank you for allowing them to be hatched in your home.

Surely I would be. I will get my place back to put back my compost pit in its spot.
