So our country has had the 10th October as a National Holiday for more than 20 years until the year 2010 when it was scrapped off. We would no longer have the day off. So this week on Monday, a judge rules that we deserve the holiday. So today its a holiday here that we never expected.
It brought some mixed reactions especially to business people as they believe they lose out on business.
So today its an easy day here though I'm at work. Hope you are having a good one.

But I think the case is not finish, the government will exhaust their resources to be back in the game, well that's how our government play here.

Double 10 (October 10) is also a holiday in Taiwan to commemorate the 1911 Wuchang uprising that led to the separation of Taiwan from Mainland China.

@aureliah I don't live in Taiwan but I believe they have no work there because it's an important holiday for them.
