Tips to control anger

This is one aspect of my personality which I hate. Today I again ended up getting angry for an issue which could have been handled patiently. Any tips to.control my outburst????

Try to stay silent and walk away. Then have water. And return only when you have calm yourself.

Walk away from the situation if you can and get some breathing space then go back and deal with it calmly. Good luck.

@amitkokiladitya Yes that is the problem. Sometimes I cannot also with a family member, so I just have to take my mind away from reacting by maybe watching a nice calm video.

Yes, sometimes I have excessive anger. Luckily, I found myself strong enough to control it.

Don't give in to those feelings. Think of the consequences...stress and unhappiness. Better to remain calm and express your feeling in a reasonable manner.

@amitkokiladitya Usually I don't get angry.But if sometimes anger gets the better of me,I prefer to keep silent.....My friends ridicule me.They say I'm too 'cold.'

All we can do is walk away and take deep breaths to kind of calm down that adrenaline

When you get angry start laughing or stand in front of the mirror and outburst. It will definitely work.
