I woke up a little later than usual because of the weather. It was (and still is) overcast and dark outside so my body clock didn't wake me up at the usual time. I made myself a cup of coffee and loaded up slingtv (It's cable cutting service for those unawares) and then I cussed. Well, no I actually said "You've got to be kidding me!" I record AHS every week but sling says "this isn't available in your area." I ended up sending in an error report and then contacting them directly. It still isn't sorted but they are aware of the issue and hopefully it will be sorted soon. It was only happening for AHS and nothing else on FX. So, I got up and watched it in another room via a different service. I then started the laundry, the dishes, and read just a smidgen of a book. I've done some things online, cooked dinner, and am now contemplating the vacuum cleaner. Oh, and I cleaned the toilet, sink and sprayed the shower down. What has your day looked like? (FX is a television network in the US) (AHS is American Horror Story)

Not an exciting day, I cleaned the house (toilet, kitchen, rooms) as usual, baked muffins for our morning breakfast, typed some things that my husband needed and them I came to myLot.

Surprisingly enough, while I'm not a fan of cleaning the bathroom, I prefer it over the kitchen. Of course I do all of it, so it doesn't much matter what I prefer or not. I know breakfast is the most important meal of the day but I only eat breakfast one day a week. I'm currently in the process of trying to lose a little weight. I wouldn't say I am uncomfortable with my weight but I also know I need to lose a few pounds for health reasons and so... I probably should start eating breakfast. You posted this 12 hours ago and I am just now getting around to doing mylot. It's 8:33 PM here as I am writing this.

@ScribbledAdNauseum You posted your reply 7 hours ago, sleeping time in Europe. I am up from 5 hours (it's 10:30 am), we had breakfast and we will have a light lunch at noon. My husband is heavily underweight, I am only a bit underweight, so we have no problem about what we eat.

I took care of my granddaughter today then came home and got busy with my plants and working on the yard. Not a very exciting day for me.

You were able to spend time with your granddaughter though. I have contemplated off and on about growing some root vegetables but I am not the best gardener. I'd also like to do a raspberry plant. The raspberry plant would be more cost effective (if I could get it to grow) because I eat raspberries but I also drink the tea from the leaves.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I love spending time with my granddaughter. I bet you could grow vegetables. I have never grown raspberries but I bet they would be easy to take care of.

@velvet53 I am not sure, I'll have to look into it. My friend bought a sort of raspberry plant similar to the tomato planter that's popular. I am sure it's out of season for growing, but I'll just have to see. I'd also like to get one for tomatoes.

So do you spend time looking at your vacuum like art work? Lol. I planned on sleeping in a little bit for up earlier and went to the Dr and now I'm at work till 10:30 pm I did some cleaning yesterday.

I might as well. Vacuuming is not one of my favorite chores! I had a mini vac that I would use for in between jobs in high traffic areas, I liked it better. It won't stay charged for whatever reason though and so I'm forced to use the regular vac for now! I'm the type of person who has to have things planned in segments. Appointments always had to be on days I already had off. It felt like it ruined my day to go to the doctors and then work, but I had to do that sometimes anyway. Such is life.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I prefer appts on days offer too but some Drs are in surgery those days and so I have to work with that. Unless it rains I work most days one job or the other. Most appts I try to make on Wednesdays or Thursday as I have those nights off but work some in the day.

@MarshaMusselman I am not made for working two jobs. I mean, if I had to, I would. Many years ago, I worked two jobs. I was a cashier during the night and a waitress during the day. In hindsight, I should have kept the cashiering job for longer.

It was downpouring and thundering all moening so my mom and I cancelled going back to the vet and stayed in bed to watch tv and get more much needed sleep. Then we ran errands and took my cousins out to dinner.

It was a nice day here, though the day before was very rainy. We had flooded areas.

@ScribbledAdNauseum we dont flood too often, thankfully. As last time water got into our car and we got a moldy smell.

FX is not available here, makes me sad. I will be watching AHS S8 Episode 5, Young Sheldon Season 2 Episode 4 and Season 3 of Riverdale. I can't wait to see Michael Langdon ruined the witches. Lol. Sound bad but it's exciting.

I'm assuming you've watched this week's episode. I had to watch it using a different service because my television company was having problems playing AHS. I did get to watch it atleast. What do you think that one leader is up to? I forget his name, but it's the one that was thrown against the wall. Do you think he is actually concerned or do you think he's being manipulated somehow by Langdon?

@ScribbledAdNauseum I think he is with Cordelia. And I think he will going to die too. Remember Michael said that she kill them and one survive, which is Molly. I wonder who's inside Molly, or it could be she is the next Supreme based on the past.

I have to catch up on everyone's posts from yesterday because I didn't have data service till last night because of the hurricane. I need to watch AHS on Netflix and see if I can get into it. Ive been going back and watching the earlier episodes of Good Mythical Morning this morning.

If you watch AHS on netflix make sure you watch the Coven one because it ties in with the current season. Also, I think you should watch Coven because it's one of the tamer seasons. There was one season I couldn't watch because the first few scenes were just sickening. It was the siamese twin one, whichever one that was. My Nephew's here this weekend and I've suggested a movie marathon, not yet sure whether he'll take me up on that offer yet or not.

@thislittlepennyearns I do that, cancel things when I don't need them anymore. I tend to do that at the beginning of the year. Like Sling for instance, I usually keep from September until January. I may keep it longer this time, it depends on how much extra cash I have to throw around.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I watched the very first season and I think a couple episodes from the second, but it's been a long time. I get off work at 130 today, so I may try to catch up on some shows tonight and before work tomorrow. And then I'm off Monday so in between packing and such, I will probably be catching up on Stranger Things and some other stuff. I'm gonna cancel Netflix for a a month or two I think. It's not really a "NEED" especially since work is getting busier and busier. So I'll watch whatever I can before I cancel it.

Glad you got to watch it anyway. I feel like with the colder weather I can sleep a lot more than I’m hotter months.

I agree with you. Especially if it's just a bit cooler in my bedroom but I am bundled under blankets, I get way too comfortable and not ready to wake up.

You have mentioned most of the things I should get done but being on my own who cares? I did do my laundry this morning and changed my bed sheets. So this weekend I will vacuum and so other things.

I understand the "who cares" mentality. I honestly slack sometimes in things that need to get done. However, while I do not live alone, I am the only one who does any real form of cleaning. This irritates me to no end but there is not much to be done about it.
