The New 'Doctor Who' is an Insult to All the Women Before She Became The Doctor

I watched the series premiere of DOCTOR WHO. And the performance was great---no offensive content within the episode. But--on commercials--there were clips of people asking Jodie Whitaker (the new Doctor) questions. And some of the questions were those "How do you feel about 'being the female Doctor'?"-type questions. And she answered that she grew up rarely seeing women as the hero. That ... was disgusting! What are ALL THE FEMALE COMPANIONS BEFORE SHE BECAME DOCTOR, chop-liver?
