Not quite the weekend I was hoping for...

My biggest 'gig' of the year happens this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at the Berryville Vineyard Harvestfest. Unfortunately, although last weekend was nice, and next weekend will be nice, this weekend leaves a bit to be desired weather-wise. I would normally go out today and set equipment up a day ahead, but there's an 81% chance of rain this evening, and although I have tarps to cover my equipment (it's an outdoor festival) I really don't like leaving my equipment out in the rain like that, so I'll go out early tomorrow morning and set up (the event starts at noon tomorrow). While the chance of rain tomorrow is negligible, the high temp is expected to be around 56°F/14°C, while Sunday there's a 60% chance of rain in the afternoon with high temps of the same. I have three bands to run sound for Saturday, and two Sunday...which, the festival is rain or shine, but I don't see many people coming out Sunday with the rain. I've spent the past 2 days checking cables and gathering up video equipment to use out there, and I'll be picking up my boss's trailer later today for hauling the bigger equipment tomorrow. (At least this year I can myLot from out there since I have a smart-phone now) Gonna be a looooooong weekend...

I'm wondering if you could have all the equipment in a covered tent thingie with a window (I would think it exists) - and work from in there too? I know, I know - it'd be another expense. Yah, I'd set up in the morning too - don't want to risk it.

@myklj999 It just started raining here . . . haven't seen rain like this in a lonnnnnnnnnnng time. I can't imagine working with electrical stuff in this rain - and our rain is probably super light compared to what you get there (and the length of it). Good luck . . . hope the weather stays on your side!!
Lat year we got lucky, the rain stopped about 11 AM on Saturday, but I think it'll be a problem this year. Here's a clip I shot from Saturday afternoon last year, recorded the audio and video separately and then mixed it together a couple days afterwards.
