Russian Green Apple Antonovka was not delicious

Yes you read the title right; as you know my family visited Russia; so it was quit common that they will bring something. Fruits were also brought, and I as daily have my fruit salad, so I was given Antonovka (Russian Green Apple) in salad.
It was't sweet, but bitter in taste, I have to use black salt properly for making it taste less bitter, however my wife liked it's natural taste.
Have you eaten Antonovka? How do you like the taste?

Hmm that remains to be proven, I will judge it once I taste the russian apple... well, if ever I have the chance to bite it.

Not sure if we have had these here, but green apples are not my first choice! For some reason, the sweet red ones are my first choice.

I have never eaten the kind you said. Since you said it was not delicious, I will not try it later.
