Why wait for Taco Tuesday? This is Taco Saturday!

Do you ever have a craving for something particular for lunch? I've been wanting tacos for a while, well, since we ate at a Mexican restaurant last week. So, it's tacos and refried beans for lunch later today. Got the tomatoes and lettuce all chopped, the cheese is already shredded, and the venison burger is ready to fry. I'll mix up some chunky salsa with the refried beans (canned, but still good) and probably make some lemonade instead of sweet tea. I know, I know. But I like something different than tea at times. We were really bad yesterday, though. I gave in to temptation and bought two candy bars for us at Walmart. Have you had the Hershey's Cookie Layer Crunch bars? They are to die for. My fave is the mint, but my husband likes the caramel. But, sometimes you just gotta have something chocolate, although we've both been doing good at cutting back. He's lost about 19 pounds and I've lost five. Of course, he's a big man so he's losing more than I need to! Now, hopefully no more candy bars for a while. What I'd really like to do is bake a dessert of some kind, but then there's too much left over to resist. Hope your Saturday is going terrific. Any special plans? My only special plans are the tacos. And house work. Uggg.
