We had our regular Friday date dinner last night. It was Joes sons, Dans turn to cook. We had no idea what he planned to make until he got here. He showed up with a corned beef brisket, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing swiss cheese and rye bread for homemade reuben sandwiches. He also made mashed potatoes with cheddar cheese and garlic bits. That was so heavenly I could have made a meal out it by itself. Last but not least, Dan grilled fresh asparagus on Joes George Foreman grill. Joe gave Dan one just like it a couple of weeks ago and he has told us quite a number of foods he has cooked on his at home. I must say that Dan has quite a knack for cooking. He is a regular chip off the old blockhead.

I love to hear that men cook, for so long women cooked and did not work outside of the home, now its reversing and I like it. I am glad you have 2 wonderful cooks in your home.

That meal sounds delish! Is that little fella in the photo a grandbaby? He's adorable.
