Ginseng is something expensive and usually we just use it to make the soup. Now I learned that in Korea they have a dish called deep fried Ginseng. It will use more Ginseng and it will cost a lot. I haven't thought that the Ginseng can be deep fried and this is very creative. However, I wonder whether it is tasteful

Perhaps there are too many Ginseng in Korea so that they become less expensive as well as normal vegetables?

@dfollin As Ginseng is expensive. Usually we will just use one Ginseng or part of it to make the soup and that's all. Try to imagine to deep fried so many Ginseng as well as potato chips, this will cost a lot. Besides, its healthy features may be gone due to this cooking method.

I am not sure whether I will like the deep fried Ginseng. It seems a waste to eat it like that.

I'm not sure if we have this in our restaurants or not. I think we do. I'll have to look more closely next time we go.

In my opinion a bit too strong and "pungent".
