I have not posted anything here today, but I have been looking around at your discussions.
It is cold, windy, and wet here.
Last night I hurt so much all over that it was hard to sleep
Today I have puttered and cleaned a little, but I still was hurting.I gave up and took a muscle relaxant. I probably will go to sleep here in a bit.

I worked as hard as I could, as long as I could, then slept just an hour. It really helped.

I take flexaril, and I am not familiar with any of the others. A script of fifteen lasts me a year as I do not take it often. Just when desperate.

@AmbiePam That is pretty bad. Do they know why you grind your teeth?

@GardenGerty Stress. I never had any problems until I was around twenty when I started getting sick. I've tried relaxation techniques, aromatherapy, massage, but nothing works. I have very little enamel left on my back teeth.

@amadeo If I could do it, that half hour daily nap would help me.

I average taking a flexaril once every three to four weeks. It helps a lot when I do. I feel much better tonight.

@sallypup That is why I do not take them more than about once a month.

@GardenGerty I'm glad you feel better. A doc prescribed muscle relaxers for my neck but I didn't get the meds cause they turn me into a zombie. I don't have time for that.

I am much better now. Not sure what the cause is exactly. I know cold weather moving in makes me hurt, but it is even colder now. I think getting extra rest helped.

It did. Often if I take one I am really drowsy for quite a while so I do not take one often.

Angie, it is the fibromyalgia. My guess is that the big weather change is causing it, mostly. Getting cold can cause it. I notice it more on the weekends, I think. I kind of have to guess on some of the issues, such as not wearing the right shoes, or pulling a muscle working with a kid. I hurt most days and can just ignore it, or use an over the counter remedy, but once in a while it hits really big time. Some parts of Kansas have snow.
