Take that terrible tasting alkaline water!

So, I bought alkaline water because some people say it is better for you, although the majority of medical professionals think standard water is fine for most. I had smartwater once..which is alkaline and tasted pretty good, but this was some off brand I bought. It was horrible, tasting like distilled water, if you have ever tasted that..It was just flat and nasty. So, I put some Mio in it..one of the beverage additives. Now the water is drinkable..I am sure Mio may be defeating the purpose but a few drops probably aren't terrible..now I can drink the water.

I love my water at home..but I guess we are supposed to be striving to make our bodies more alkaline.

@enlightenedpsych2 It's straight from the heavens. A bit of carb soda added from time to time to stop the blue staining in the wash basins.

I don't know..but I don't think I will buy it again..it did not taste good.

They are flavoring drops you can put into plain water to make it taste better, or have a flavored drink.

It shouldn't have done that..maybe you had a bad batch.
