Been back from work for a bit, but this is the first chance that I've gotten to say hello ! Today went well, was just busy. This morning I had a chiropractor appointment to go to, so I went to that via a Lyft. My chiropractor appointments are always pretty quick, so when I was done with that, I walked down to the shopping center and first stopped at a vet where I am thinking of taking Angel. After that I went another hundred yards or so to the grocery store and did a bit of grocery shopping--mostly food for Angel. I made sure to get nothing perishable. Since the shopping center is right by where I catch the bus to work (normally it would be the second bus, but since I had gone to the chiropractor via a Lyft, I didn't go on the first bus). I was early, but better early than late. So I rode the bus to the transit mall, then walked the last few blocks to work (and was still about twenty minutes early). I started downstairs with the preschoolers, who were supposed to be napping, but it was a bit hard for me to get a few of them to sleep. After the two teachers in the preschool room were done with their lunch breaks, I went upstairs to the toddler room. They're a busy bunch, and one of the newest little guys is particularly challenging, so that was certainly busy ! I was on the clock there from noon until a little after 4:30 pm PST, then when the last child left the other toddler teacher and I both left, and I called a Lyft to take me home. Lo and behold it was the same guy who had driven me to my chiropractor appointment this morning. When I finally got home I walked Angel, then put the garbage cans out to be picked up tomorrow, and then fed Angel. Phew ! So, now here I am. In a bit I'm off to go and find something to eat for dinner. Hope that you all have had a great day/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land !
