Hello everyone.
I got my results for my blood test just a few minutes ago. Not so bad I guess. My blood sugar is nearing the borderline. My triglycerides are high which is a first for me. My uric acid is slightly elevated and my creatinine is low.
Other than that, all are normal.
I still have to consult the doctor To know what medicines to take if there are any. As for the low creatinine, I am not sure how and why and what to do.
Anyone who knows more about this can share your info. It will be greatly appreciated.

I am not a medical practitioner here but I guess you are still healthy by the way the results are presented. The elevated results is just a warning that anytime soon you might get health problems if it continues to go beyond the maximum limit. Triglycerides being high may mean that soon you may have a cholesterol problem if not controlled. I do not think they would recommend meds for that for now since this is your first. They might recommend exercise and diet at first and will check on you again if it get better.

Get your blood sugar under control and it will help all of that. Triglycerides are part of the cholesterol breakdown and they are usually high in people with diabetes.
A proper way to lower your blood sugar is to not eat anything white, meaning no rice, pasta, potatoes, bread and sugar, absolutely no cake, candy or pies.
Eat more vegetables and add a cup of yogurt each day.
I am a diabetic and this will work.

Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. That hurts @andriaperry no cake and pies.
But I am actually trying to work this out. Hopefully I will be there one day. Coke and sodas are out, just a little more with rice.

It is important to watch out what we eat nowadays. As I old, I want to make sure that I eat the proper food.

high triglycerides may result to heart conditions; increased uric acid may be the reason for having joint pains (arthritis). i think they can still be managed with dietary restrictions.

@rakski it will be therefore a hard time restricting your food intake if you are bent on following the doctors' orders.
