Today we celebrate Bosses Day. It's probably a day for mixed feelings depending on how you feel about your boss.
My daughter and her co-workers each contributed toward a gift for their boss even though many days he drives them crazy.
When I was working my boss was a decent guy and we all contributed toward a gift for him. Of course there were a few who grumbled but they would have complained no matter where they worked.
If you have a boss, do you acknowledge that today is bosses day?
Since I'm retired, I'm my own boss now so maybe I should buy myself something in honor of this day??

We normally get our boss a gift but nobody has mentioned this to us. I wonder if anyone even knew it was bosses day ? I thought we already had it but could be wrong. I wonder if anyone will mention it at work today, we shall see.

The day of the boss here in Mexico is on April 31st. I donĀ“t remember having acknowledge my boss in any day.

I am self employed since I retired so I could buy something for myself.

I remember years ago we had Boss's Day earlier in the month.
It was my first job out of college, and I actually called our Boss the Boss.
It actually fell on his birthday one year and we gave him a little something, it seemed to make his day.
He has retired and since passed, and I cannot call anyone Boss since then, he was special.

My bosses were always great, not that there were many of them.

I don't think any of my moms coworkers knew about this as my mom didn't mention anyone doing anything for their boss.
